How to make moving cable??

Hello!

 

I design to liner robot. and I moving some part but cable doesn't move. so I seach how to make moving cable.

 

 

I found this but it's Solid Works.

and I know to make moving cable.

I'll wait for your advice

Wow, nice.

 

In a past tryed this in Solid Edge ... with poor effect.

 

I thing developers saw this and will implement this at Solid Edge as fantastic, innvative  option in a future.

 

Sorry for sarcasm but sometimes Solid Edge make me little confiuse when i must fight with it (self closing, errors and limitations).

 

SE ST9 + TC 10.1.7

the fixed cable/tube/hose length was introduced to Solid Edge ST7 3 years ago.

I believe to remember thatt there was a video available too showing the change of this tube when moving the part

 

But You also can reproduce it Yourself very easily

But of course to be honest, the extension with a helical spiral around need further features in a part, so You have to create a flexible part with such geometry behind rather than only doing it as xPresRoute or cable

But I think it should be possible too

 

And there was another function/feature shown with ST8 to animate/simulöate assemblies WITH flexible subassmeblies and parts, what also is possible for 2 years now

 

Take a view onto!
