I cant reinstall solid edge

i was trying to activate my solid edge license and i could not access the solid edge license utility because it said it was already running when it wasn't. so i uninstalled it to attempt to reinstall it, but when i re install it the program says i have solid edge installed already but i don't any help?

Verify that indeed SE in not installed:Controll Panel --> add/remove software

Then delete the SolidEdge Registry before you try to re-install.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unigraphics Solutions\Solid Edge

it is confirmed that its is indeed uninstalled from my computer and it is not on my registry and it is still not allowing me to install solid edge

Have you rebooted the PC? Do a restart and allow it to release anything it may be holding form the uninstall .. Sometimes shared Dlls cant be released until a reboot?

Did you manually remove the registry? It will not just be gone from the uninstall you have to do so manually.

I would try once again these steps:

1.) stop everything and reboot PC
2.) Control Panel --. add/remove
3.) If Solid Edge is found try repair and then remove
4.) reboot
5.) manually remove HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unigraphics Solutions\Solid Edge
6.) reboot
7.) try to install fresh

if this does nto work... I'm lost...

no luck at all im re downloading the installer now maybe that will help. thanks for the help.
