I have a working ST6 Insight server and have many clients with no issues. I have one client that fails to work with Insight. It acts as if the Insight app is not installed on the server even though it is and the searchscope is defined on the client. Does this for all users on this particular client. If you attempt to use the Search in the SE Open dialog and change the Look in Folder field to a http based Insight folder you get a message stating "thespecifieddirectorydoesnotexist". Any ideas?
RESOLVED! It basically had to do with an incomplete install of the Insight web service assemblies in the GAC from a previous version. Had to manually remove them. GTAC was able to provide the needed diagnosis and fix.
