Hi again, Looking for some tips from the Insight Guru's.
We have had a problem for quite some time, and it is getting worse.
We are a multinational company with offices trying to share data on several continents. Unfortunately the wait time when opening SE data making the system borderline unusable.
I am considering the viability of having the insight server, (or possibly just the data) mirrored on another, server local to the offices that require access to it.
My question is, Is this even do'able? Or am I asking for more trouble than I need!
Has anyone else had success with such a system, (I am certain we are not the only people with this issue). Or is there a better way of doing this?
We are currently running ST7, and the Insight server is the same on SQL Server 2008 R2.
Thanks in anticipation
We did this with several customers.
You will have on each site your own Server and the servers do the replication and the local client gets it data from their local server.
You have also control what is synced or not. In some cases you will not have specific data on specific locations.
