I do not know how the Student Install files are delivered... BUT, look for "SECleanupAll.exe" in a folder called at [InstallFolderLocation]\Solid Edge\ST10\64-bit\DVD\Solid Edge\SptTools\SECleanup
Within the trial download folder C:\SEWebInstall should be the twenty 7-Zip files and also a Solid_Edge_Web_Package_ST10.exe file.
Double-click on this Solid_Edge_Web_Package_ST10.exe and your twenty files will automagically be extracted into a Solid Edge media install folder C:\SEWebInstall\Solid Edge.
Once Extracted, look for the SECleanupALL tool
--------------- Sometimes after uninstalling Solid Edge software products and then attempting to reinstall Solid Edge software you receive an error message "Another version of Solid Edge is already installed".
This indicates that the previously uninstalled Solid Edge software was not properly removed requiring a manual uninstall and clean-up of the Solid Edge software. To manually uninstall and clean-up Solid Edge software: 1. Uninstall the Solid Edge software using Add/Remove Programs. 2. Manually delete the Solid Edge program folders typically in C:\Program Files. 3. Manually delete the Solid Edge user preference folder %APPDATA%\Unigraphics Solutions. 4. Manually clean up the registry by deleting any Solid Edge registries in the following locations: * HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unigraphics Solutions * HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Unigraphics Solutions * HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Unigraphics Solutions NOTE! There may be other Siemens PLM software installed under the "Unigraphics Solutions" locations. Take care to not delete these entries and only remove Solid Edge related entries. 5. Reboot the workstation. 6. Attempt to reinstall the software again.
