I would suggest you make yourself a copy of the license & SolidEdgeV104ENGLISH_32Bit.exe files to a DVD, or flash drive....to have on hand for re-installation, or even passing on to your friends.

Hey guys,

I have got an e-mail, that i should have installed Solid Edge. But it isn't right now.
I didnt get any download link to my email.

Is there any chance to get a new download-link for Solid-Edge ST-4?

best regards

Check your Junk folder to insure it didn't go there. You can also go
back and fill the form out again to get it to resend you the link. If
you search the forum, somebody was posting a direct link to download it too.

I also just installed the software, but after the solid edge splash screen, I get "Engine Error" 'The application is not properly registered. You may need to reinstall it.' I just reinstalled and got the same error message. Any ideas?

Hi there,

Sounds like a corrupt exe file....but sometimes it's hardware / drivers / opertaing system, or a combination of, so it would help narrow it down with this information.

Hi,
I installed ST4, it came up with the license error so i uninstalled and attempted to re install thinking that would solve the problem but it just comes up with an error message saying that there is already a version installed... but there isn't, i cant find it anywhere...

Any help would be much appreciated

Cheers

Hi everyone,

by the installing process everything is OK.
When I have started my first project the "Solids" model (Extrude, Revolve, etc.) isn`t active.
Could anyone help me?
Txs in advance.

If you are in the Synch mode (default), those commands will be inactive
until some sketch geometry is created first.
