Hi @Hclee

depending on which feature You are creating I think that many of them are easier to build via sync rather than ordered. On the other hand there are several features and functions I never ever would solv in sync, but only as ordered.

And this - I think is the strange of SE, that we can deside by ourself how we would like to have it done!

And bot modes can coexists side by side, more or less.

See the sync body as the first ordered feature.

Until this the way to the body doesn't matter and from that point on the way is important.

That's what the basic differences are between orderd and snyc.

Use both of them.

regards
Wolfgang

I had another thread about this, so I will keep it short.

My problem with Sync sheet metal is the inability to start/end cuts in the plastic zone. Without the unbend rebend workflow, that kind of design work is not possible. If the part uses Sync at all, that design option is removed. Either unbend-rebend needs to be an added workflow to Sync, or the actual design tools need to include cuts normal to the K plane and flange design needs a huge upgrade. Until that is solved, Sync is not an option for me.

Hello Simens Developers...

Everything should be user choice.
The history is synchronous mode.
Even the environment should not be synchronous.

Do not force users.
All design methods are user choice.
We will proceed as comfortable.

Synchronous is way too sketchy.
However, modification is convenient.

To use both orderd mode and synchronous mode ..
The default environment is the user's choice.

if you are confident this behavior changed from ST8 to ST9 please file and IR and state that you feel this is a regression issue.

That is correct.
In ST8, it never happened.
I can not speak English, but I will ask.
Let's see if it is PR or ..ER.
