Can you just zoom in so that your model is bigger?

Re: KeyShot backgrounds and scaling models to match

The nutshell answer is: Everything should be at full size.

There is an exception. Past a specific size, SE has a max model size. If you are modeling 20 square miles, I think a scale factor has to be used to hadle it. let's say your not having that problem.

So then your problem becomes, how to scale your model. The only way is through import and export fuctions using scales upon import. There is no easy way to scale an existing model without export. I could be wrong. I remember threads talking about using interpart copy with a scale involved. I don't remember if that worked.

In KeyShot 6: scale the model.Scale.PNG

Re: KeyShot backgrounds and scaling models to match

All of my modelling is full size. When i drop in a back ground image it does not match up. It would seem to me that some kind of import scale is off. I have often noticed this to be the case for texture as well( large swirls or scraches on model making the model seem to be smaller). when i start a keyshot file, i have been using the Keyshot button in SE to kick it off. My SE file is in inches at the time. SO what am i doing wrong or not doing?
