KeyShot license error

I am working with ST7 and when I tried to open KeyShot I got a license error: "Cannot use KeyShot 3 or 4 license file with KeyShot 5. Please contact license@luxion.com to get a new license file".

Is not the license included in ST7?

That is unusual. Guessing you have an old KeyShot on your machine? go to Control Panel -- add/remove and see what you there there. Do you have KeyShot 3 or 4? What about KeyShot 5 (should have been installed when you installed SE).

Control Panel Add/remove shows KeyShot 5 64 bit.

Mysterious. I am thinking you will have to call this in to support. 

 

Are you trying to run KS standalone? What happens if you invoke it from the KeyShot button inside Solid Edge (tools ribbon). Or is that what you are doing?

It is inactive in tools ribbon, and when I move mouse over it it says You do not have a valid license...

ah, do you have Foundation, Classic, or Premium?

OK. that would be it. It is not included in Foundation. You need Classic and up to use KeyShot.

I have a problem too. I cann't open keyshot, in license file is keyshot4 but when I download Solid edge ST7, keyshot is version5. So, cann't open. Help me, please.
