LOSS IN RELATIONSHIPS WITH BLOCK GLOBAL UPDATE

I use a block (e.g., Block B) often as part of a group (e.g., Group B/1) and attach it to elements of B/1, say in Drawing A. I also create a RIGID SET of Group B/1 less block B. If I use a REPLACE command from the LIBRARY within Drawing A to globally update B from Drawing X, all relationships that I had established in B/1 are lost. Is there a way to maintain the relationships in such a case?

Thanks,

Ron

I wondered today, 4/2, why I hadn't got a response on this issue.  I went looking for it in the 2D forum and couldn't find it.  So I thought I was crazy and submitted a new problem in that forum of similar description.  Than I also wondered maybe I'm not so crazy and found it in the 3D forum.  So this edit is to clarify that this is a 2D problem and it also appears in the 2D forum as of today.

And Ricky, this results in my attempt to use more blocks and rigid sets as you have recommended many times in the pass.

Sorry for the redundancy,

Ron
