Material copy

Hello to all. I tried to find out if there was a discussion that could do for me, but finding nothing I try to ask you what I would like to do.

When I create a new material, can I copy all the values I have highlighted and copy them as new material data?
In some cases the new material needs totally different values, but in others
Instead, cases remain all the same and I would like to not rewrite all the data manually. It's possible?

Thank you all.

Yes. When you click New in Styles, you get the New Face Style window pop up. Click on the Name tab, where you enter the name for your new material and underneath this entry is Based on. Select a material in this field which is closest to your new material and the parameters will be copied across.

Edit: Sorry, I had brain fade and got confused between Face Styles and Materials Smiley Embarassed

Hi @And_M_One

no matter at all!

You can copy whatever You want to copy.

The complete material, some material properties or onoly one.

Not only one material, but also a complete material group.
