Multi-CAD Data Management System - Design Data Manager - any good?

We are investigating a number of PDM systems with a view to moving to a managed data environment.  One such system is called DDM (Design Data Manager).  Refer to http://www.designdatamanager.com/.

I am just wondering if anybody uses or has used DDM?  Is it any good?  Any feedback greatly appreciated!

Stick with Teamcenter or Teamcenter Rapid Start! Anything else is asking for trouble.

Teamcenter has nearly a decade, if not more, supporting multi-CAD environments. Not mention younhave the JT backbone for visualization.

I could help you out with that!

We had a crack at getting Teamcenter Rapid Start set up.  Every time we had it working the next day it would crap out.  It was an endless headache and just would not work reliably.  The endless Java updates being foisted on us did not help either.  Not to mention it was hideously slow despite our best efforts at optimising it.  And that was just during workflow testing.  We never used it in anger and just flagged it away.
