Crousie, I agree with Sean that your description is vague. Please try to post more detail or a video. If you are selecting from the PathFinder you will select the features as a select set. If you only intend to edit one set of faces simply select them directly from the graphical display. ???
you've only captured a very narrow viewing window in the video. we need to see your pathfinder and the expanded bodies collector to see the multiple bodies...
additionally a little understanding on what you are trying to accomplish would be helpful... i see you randomly clicking on faces and using quickpick but i dont follow what your objective is?
I'd like to help you out but need to see the whole picture and understand what it is you are trying to accomplish.
I think I have every thing you need to see what the issue is. The parts to the right are the ones that were active and had to redo to make not active. Now this is the issue... I've tried every ways from Sunday to fix. http://screencast.com/t/yBnMP1gqnx
Crousie, It appears to me. that you may benifit from modeling in and assembly environment, using the "Create Part In-Place" method ....have look through the help file for more on the topic.
Also, be careful that your design doesn't have the "Non Manifold" condition being used, by way of circle-to-circle tangent contact. This doesn't matter at sketch level, but is game over for modeling parts.
