I navigate to the post and then grab the address in the browser's address field.

HI @KennyG

OK, so far so goog, but this only brings me to the begiining of that post.

Take for example the KeyShot Fun post

https://community.plm.automation.siemens.com/t5/Solid-Edge-Forum/Keyshot-fun/td-p/295164

with several pages.

How can I bring exactly one certain answer from the post?

The link on top always keeps the same, independet from where You are at the moment.

Hi @KennyG

for example, how can I link directly to the post from bob miletti

I always be extremely entused when I see this images, and I want to share them (not the pictures, but the link to the thread)

20170927_1626.PNG

When I scroll to that page the link on top also changes to ..../page2

But where is page 2?

I have set my otpions to have 50 post per page, You may have only 25 and another person has set to 10 only

So there should be a possiblity to define exactly what I want to bring with my link, isn't it?

Wolfgang

I found three ways that should work.  If you click the menu on the upper right of the individual post, you have the option of:  Email to a friend, Bookmark, or Highlight.  All will generate a link to the specific post in a thread.  Highlight appears easiest to use as the other require you to either wait for the e-mail to be sent to you (specifiy your e-mail as the "friend") or find the Bookmark in your Community Subscriptions to get the link.

The Highlight link looks like this:

The E-mail link looks like this:

I always hit the "..." at the top right-hand corner of the post I want to link to and then "E-mail to a Friend", in this case the friend is myself (my only friend?).  I then copy and paste the link in that e-mail into my posts.  This is how I got the link below back to your post:

Hi @KennyG

Hi @uk_dave

thanks a lot.

It seems so easy that I can not understand why necessyra to ask for.

But as always, the easiest solutions often are the best one
