Octagon Does Not Equal Dimension

I've asked this question before, still have the same results. Tried the maintain relationship to maintain equal dimensions for the octagon command. As shown on this video... Typing in a dimension of 24 in comes out to 27.713.

 

Just installed ST7 Student Editon.

Greg,

 

You have automatic dimensions active on your geometry.....you need to delete the diameter dimension, to add the control [Driving dimensions = RED] you're looking for.
