Ah OK they hid the option down on the PromptBar, which I never look at and have dubbed the "Bar of Lies," since following the things it suggests only leads to frustration. (For instance, click "E" for endpoint, then click an arc and get a "This is not a valid unit type" message.)
I much prefer that they put a toggle option button on the actual graphical user interface, since SE is, after all, 99% GUI based.
I like the "Just freaking do it anyway" button. Now when the "Relationships in this model will not allow this modification" message pops up, I can just hit Ctrl+Alt+F13 and SE does the thing I asked it to without giving me any more lip.
@DGMCENGINEERING You have to be hovering over a line or arc for the "MICE" keys to do anything. If you hit E, when hovering a line, it will get the endpoint.
I remember that I used to have frustration when placing/dimensioning holes and following the PromptBar options, which didn't produce the desired result. I tried it out just now and it seems to be OK in ST8, perhaps I will start to pay attention to the PromptBar again.
