Noted that sketches created in "Ordered" disappear when switching to "Synchronous" mode. Why is that?
Not sure I get the gist of the question. Everything in ordered disappears when you switch to sync. Unless, as @Tushar says, you first move ordered features to sync.
I was trying to highlight the difference:
Transitioning the Environment between Sync to Ordered and v.v.
Moving Objects from Sync to Ordered and v.v.
@filipiakt If you think of the Synchronous model as the first item in the ordered feature tree, it might make more sense. So when you're edititing the Sync model, everything else is rolled back.
