PO_LC

Could you give more details about what you try to achieve? or post a sample part?

Feature can be moved from ordered mode to Synch but not the other way around.

I have three different views of one of the parts which will be installed in
the docs. There are parts to be installed on top of what is shown. I used
the drag command on assembly to get what is shown.

Looks like you try to move a single flat surface in a plane coplanar with that surface.

You may want to use the selection manager to select all the connected faces.

To invoke the selection manager use SHIFT+Space bar

As per suggestion: I looked at your video as well as YouTube. I did as
suggested used shift+space bar, used the Select command from the Selection
Manager tried that command. Used right click to get back to Select. Believe
me I'm trying. Would these issues being all mine or a bad apple in Solid
Edge.

Greg, are you trying to move the part in the assembly? If so, your problem is that you are not in the assembly. You have in place activated the part, so you are attempting to edit the part. You need to close and return to the assembly and attempt your move there.

I have to ask if you have gone through the tutorials and self paced training yet? If not, I recommend you do so as it will help you understand how this all works together and will resolve a lot of your issues.

Thanks,
Ken

This video is to show you from closing to opening while changing from
ordered to sync. I want the parts to rotate as well as move! Also , I do
not want to the training videos, I can't open because of this virus on SE.

The browser thing in the corner when you access the tutorials is something you have installed on your PC. It is not caused the SE or the SE Tutorial page.

Your video shows you in place activating a part for EDIT. You are in the part, not the assembly. If you wish to move the part in the assembly, you must be in the assembly. Just look at the window header which states: "Base 3POC.par in POC Clean Computer Keys.asm". This means you are editing Base 3POC.par in the context of POC Clean Computer Keys.asm. You are not in POC Clean Computer Keys.asm.

Again, you need training. Do the tutorials and self-paced training.

Thanks,
Ken

Deleting SE

This may mean nothing... I noticed I deleted SE 5 times while clearing the
recycle bin not knowing I didn't have the License Code. Would his be a
cause of some of the issues.

Thanks
