Overide Relationship Problem for a subassembly within another subassembly

[ Edited ]

Hey Guys,

I just came across this issue.

When i try to override a relationship in a subassembly that particular relationship can't be overriden for other instances of the same subassembly within the main subassembly.

I know its a bit confusing to understand by reading so i am uploading a video.

The realtiomship with value 3.31mm is of concern.

I want to move them together with 1 variable table motor

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Balaji

hey guys,

Since i dint recieve any replies for almost a week i guess i failed to explain the issue

If so please give me feedback so i can upload another video in a bit more detail.

Thanks

Hi Balaji,

As I know, If you are using Adjustable Asseblies you will not be able to override Them.

To be able to override them you have to open the Adjustable Assemblies.

But if you could furder explain what you are looking for, please do it...

TY for your reply @YD

As you can see in the video. I want to overrider relationships in a subassembly(2) which is a part of another subassembly (1). There are 4 subassembly(2) within(inside) the subassembly 1

Basically the final goal is to drive them using a variable motor for concept presentation.

When i override a particular relationship in a subassembly(2) the same relationship for other subassmebly(2)'s( total 4 nos)  under subassembly(1) disappears because of which i cant drive the other subassemblies (subassembly2) as i cant get them in the variable table and only one subassembly(2) moves.

If its still unclear i will try to upload another video.

Thanks

Re: Overide Relationship Problem for a subassembly within another subassembly

Sorry Balaji for the delay.

If I understand you well, I tried to simulate your situation. I have an Assembly with some Sub-Assemblies. I have to override their relationships to be able drive the Motors.

It seems to work. But you could upload a new video if it's possible so that other could contribute to your sollution.

Ty for your help @YD

Now consider another subassembly withing the subassembly u placed and try to drive that.

Thats where i am having an issue.

I will upload a different video soon.

Thanks,
