Is there a way to set the background color of the 3D PDF or to assign a template (to include the company's logo, for instance)?

TIA

Doesn't it take the background of the SE 3D view style settings?

There may be a way to set the background I just haven't found it yet; as for templates, if you're using Adobe Reader I think you're somewhat limited in what you can do - although the new Reader DC may have some ability, but if you have Adobe Acrobat you can create templates that include your company's logo and other relevent data.

It is what it is!

There are no options available to customize the layout.

The only way to do this is with additional solutions.

I tried saving 2 simple parts as 3D PDFs, but all I get are blank PDFs.  Is there anything I need to do other than click on Save As - Save As Translated and pick 3D PDF as the file type?

Hi there,

Make sure you're using Adobe Reader to open the files.....not the "reader" for Windows 8.

[right click on the PDF choose "Open With", select Adobe Reader]

It's pretty straight forward in that you have some control over the amount of detail you want in the finished product.

What version of Adobe Reader or Acrobat are you using to view the PDFs?

Thank you.  I was using Nuance Power PDF to open it.
