Re: Part List rearrange issue

You will need to set the sort option to 'blank', then you can use the move up/down.

What platform do you use? ST X ? With or Without Teamcenter?

Re: Part List rearrange issue

In general you have to either use the sorting, or manually number every part. Making a single change to what you have is not possible.

@12GAGE, You, for some reason, are not accepting of the fact that you can use the data tab to rearrange parts lists.

Re: Part List rearrange issue

You are right. I exclude using that for a reason and forgot that it was even possible.

I frequently have a bom on one page with bubbles pointing too a small view of the assembly.

Then on the next page, same thing, but the BOM is off the page for a larger view of the assembly (I work on A size paper)

If I were to use that funtion, I could really have a mess on my hand.

So in this case, my peronal proceudres made me think about the question wrong.

Thanks!

I don't get why. It's all easily reversible.

Re: Part List rearrange issue

I would have to edit two cases of the same BOM in some cases. For frame members, I sometime use items number to track the part. This would become something else to check that I don't want to check. I have to produce drawings to quickly. I use procedures that minimize the checking I need to do.
