I try to figure out a way to pattern a part along a vertical line which is extruded along a curve. If I use the command pattern and select the part and the vertical line then Solid Edge does something, but It looks like a real mess.
It is posible to pattern the curve which the part is extruded along and then extrude the same profil along these lines. But this would take forever.
I upload a picture "This is the wanted result" where you can see what my goal is and a .prt file where I try to achieve it. It would help me if someone can explain what Solid Edge does in this .prt file, too.

Okay, thanks for the answers. It works for this specific part.
Is someone able to tell me why an error occurs when I try the EXACT same thing in another part. I try to pattern "Ausprägung 18" along the vertical line in "Skizze 6". I upload the part which I am talking about.
The error just says "no pattern created" or "process failed".
The pattern will cut the screw, but this shouldnt be the reason for the error...
Or maybe is there an easier way to extrude a curved part vertically without using pattern? (pic)
@KanwulfHow did you get this result showing in the picture ?
I thought the error occures because the sketch which contains the vertical line is in the syncronous modus. So I rebuild the part with only sequentiell elements. But the same error pops up by pattern the curved element.
It is possible to pattern the whole part (screw+curved element) along this vertical line the way I want it. But I can only do 5-10 pattern, if I try to do more Solid Edge tells me 15min+ that the pattern will be created without any result.
Any ideas ?
