Pre. vs Post flat pattern

Is there a way to have the following production steps captured in a single assembly draft?

1. Flat pattern created (flat patterns dimensions)

2. Forming (bend tables)

3. Machining (Tapped holes added within bent area)

The problem in paticular is that the finished product has tapped holes. The origional flat pattern does not have the holes. I do not want to document the holes in the flat pattern as that would cause confusion for the people who program the punch machine.

The tapped holes are added after a dimple is added relative to the dimples exact location. I want to add that detail to the same drawing but NOT have that detail as part of the unfolded flat pattern.

To sum it up, can I omit a modeled detail from the flat pattern?

Re: Pre. vs Post flat pattern

In your model when you have the Flat Pattern mode active, there is a Delete Holes under the Delete Faces icon in the Modify section of the Home ribbon tab.  Select your holes and they go bye bye on only the Flat Pattern.
