Problems to draw a simple circle

Hello everyone, I hope you doing great.

I'm new here and also a new user of Solifge Edge ST6 for students. But I'm having a little problems, when I try to draw a line, rectangle, circle or even extrude a solid the program set a dimension of this draw or extrude operation and I just can change this measures when I use the Smart Dimensions.

How can I draw in a free hand? Am I set something wrong?

I attached some print screens to illustrate my problem.Example 1.pngExample 2.pngExample 3.pngx.png

Hello Leo,

You can size the lines and circles while creating them. Just use the appropriate input fields on the Command bar as seen in your screen shot.

After creating the lines/circles, you can use the Smart Dimension to apply dimensions and edit them immediately after applying.

Finally, these dimensions are editable later too. Just use the Select tool, pick the dimension and change their value. The video below illustrates this.

I understand what you want to do. What was written by Tushar is correct. Solid Edge provides a Freehand sketch command.

Here you can draw lines and circles without dimensions like an "artist"...
