Quickest way to trim and convert to sheet metal.

Hello,

I want to see if anyone has a better method to do this. The goal is to remove the 0.030" of plasitsol from the part including from the slots and holes and convert to sheet metal in either synchronus or ordered.

Thanks,

here's my 5 min stab.  i have to run tonight but if not answered i'll try again in the morning...

there is something keeping this from flattening...

might need to use the top face and make a new virgin part...

Hi there,

Much in same vein as Matt.....however, I noticed for the offset [if you increase the units precision] the distance is actually 0.0295".

I only managed this in Ordered, as I was unable to complete it in Synchronous [in the 2 minutes I gave myself] to a flattened model, for some strange reason.

Sean was right...  you .030 offset was the issue...  see my video attached
