Rectangular and Circular Patterns in Sketches

Experimenter
Experimenter

Is there a way to created associative circular or rectangular sketch patterns in Solid Edge ST8 (Ordered and Synchronous modes)?  I could only see the pattern function for sketches in the Ordered mode and it only put dots at the locations, it did not allow copying of sketch entities!?!  AutoCAD and SolidWorks allow patterning of sketch entities.  Doesn't Solid Edge allow this?

Hi,

Just wondering if you have another link to see how to do it ?

I want to pattern some objects in Sketch environment but without results.

This function is the weirdest one I have worked with.

Thank you.

The short answer is you can't pattern sketch entities within the pattern sketch. But can pattern that sketch. So you need a separate sketch which patterns that sketch with the "roo".
