Remove decimal point?

Pioneer
Pioneer

Hi,

I have used ST7 (academic) and was able to select several controls points to, for example, constrain them. I have stopped using ST for a long while and restarted with ST9.

I am not able to select several control points anymore.

I have tried with alt-click and control-click (see video

) but it doesn't work. I must do some obvious error but what ?

BTW what is the meaning of the dark blue and light colors for the control points ?

Thanks in advance,

A.

Hi there @ABM,

Not seeing any issue editing a "Curve" here......am able to pick on the control points [red - ST9] & the vertices [light blue]....as well as place relationships & dimensions to these too.

Can't select several curve points ?

Hi, Thanks for you answer.

I can pick one point, either on the curve  or from the polygon (btw these are the ones I call "control points") but not several.

(I don't what I have done but the tittle of this thread is absolutely not what I intended to Smiley Wink )

Yes, that is correct......single point selection. There is a Local Edit & Shape Edit option in the ribbon bar though.

Thanks for your answer.

So, there is no way to select several control points to, let say, align them ?

@ABM, ....you mean something like this kind of point alignment?

Yes, but if I understand well, in the video you used only vertical or horizontal aligment, didn't you?

If I want to align them along a sloped (?) line, I should use a construction line and then constrain them individually on this line, shouldn't I ?

Yes, if wanting to match a line [at any angle], use the "connect" command, from the relate group.
