Betreff: SE Draft Table: how to sum a column (numerical)?

I'd think doing so like everyone else would be ideal, but you must have a very special situation:

"Normally mass is a matter of the drawing header and is shown there."

Yeah. We sometimes use a drawing view style on an ISO view that has "APPROX. WT. = %{Mass|G} ea." in the caption or a callout or field in the background that has index reference "%{Mass|R1}".

Hi @CADCAM16

as already said by others, it seems to be a very specific request or procedure in Your organisation.

According to the standrads - at least ours here - the current assembly is not shown in the BOM of itself.

So the order of the BOM items is not that issue.

You either write them top - down when having a BOM on an extra page, or bottom - up if writing it above the drawing header.

That's it.

And the assembly mass is a matter of the header not of the bom.

Maybe You can consider this and think about it, and maybe it is possible to change Your drafts accordingly.

Sometimes it is easier to modify Your own strategies and behaviours as trying to change others,
mostly this is the harder job.

What about adding a title to your BOM? Something like this:

Hi @CADCAM16

R1 is the reference to the first 3D document in the draft file, which should/would be the assembly You are showing and referencing in th ebom

But just use the graphical interface for creating the callout text.

This will help You to get the reference You want to show
