Not sure why Help invokes IE specifically.  If you copy the address into another browser, Help works just fine.

According to the Solid Edge ST10 Requirements page, Solid Edge does not support Windows Edge, it only supports Internet Explorer Version 11.  This seems very backwards to use a browser that Microsoft isn't even really supporting any more.

Using Insight we are currently limited to IE because it's 32 bit whereas Edge is 64. Certainly Insight is low priority. Maybe there other features that require 32? Maybe they just don't want to support two browsers until Insight breathes it's last breath.

Actually Internet Explorer 11 no longer being supported by Microsoft  is technically not correct.

 

Although Internet Explorer 11 is the last version of Internet Explorer, it is still a supported browser on Windows 10 and will continue to receive updates on Windows 10 until Windows 10 itself is end of life.  This is per Microsoft's Internet Explorer 11 Lifecycle documentation:
