I've received that message several times over the past few weeks as well.  I'm on a network, however.  I'm also running ST7.

We do see this and the only solution I have found would be in the case of an assembly.

If you can't save an assembly all of a sudded you can click the Application Button>New>Assembly of Active Model.

Then click on the sub assembly and click Home tab>Modify group>Disperse command.

Then you can usually save the assembly as a new name.

Ughhh....I'd prefer a BSD over that message.

>touch wood< I haven't seen any sign of this "cannot be saved" message so far in ST8, on both Win7 & Win8.1 seats.

I was so happy to see there is a work around for this.  Until this popped up:

Anyone able to help with this?
