ST7 Synch - how to add holes to an existing group.

Hi, I have to admit that I'm still more an ordered guy than a synch one.

However I try to push my self to use it more and more.

Here something I regularly do but I hope there is a faster way.

Everytime I need to add holes to an existing set, I'm forced to separate them and then use the hole recognizer to group together.

There is a method to avoid it ?

In the video below my actual method.

Why don't you use "add holes"?

There is no "add holes" in my ST7 !

How do you activate it ?

Edit: found how to use the "add holes", however that partially solve my problem.

As you see in my video I do use a lot the "wheel" to move\copy the holes.

There is a quicker method to copy hole in same group ?

Thanks

You didn't explain why you prefer the wheel over "add holes".

Not sure what you mean by "quicker" or how you could be quicker than what the software already offers.

Imagine the needing to copy a whole set of holes, with the wheel you just select them and use the move\copy to the new position; if only the copied holes where automatically added to the existing hole group I would obtain what i want.

The use of the "add holes" is good but you need then to place every single holes, or am I missing something ?

No, you are correct. It's just that in your example with just a couple of holes "add holes" would be quicker. I agree that it would be nice if you could select whether you want them added to an existing group or not instead of jumping through some clever hoops like you do.
