ST7 modeling of pipe taps

Hello all,

I'm doing preparations for our company to migrate to ST7.  I'm configuring the new Ansi Inch.xlsx which replaces both the Holes.txt and PipeThreads.txt files.  In the Tapered Pipe Thread NPT section it defines the specs I'm looking at, but when we model a hole using them, we cannot choose to model the hole using the tap drill size.  The options are grey'd out and it models to the Inside Pipe Diameter instead.  How can we overide this?  Do we have to fudge the numbers?

Any insight would be appreciated,

Russ

Russ,

The hole sizes are now in an Excel spreadsheet.  You might take a look at it and see if you can modify the tap hole sizes there.

Yep that's the file I'm editing.  I did update the tap drill sizes and such, but Solid Edge is not modeling to my numbers.  When creating the hole features, the option to model to tap drill size is grey'ed out.
