I am trying to measure a dimension to an intersection drawn on a draft.
I need to be able to measure to the intersecting point of two lines on a curve.
usually I create two lines drawn onto the draft file and measure to that point, In ST7 it works...
Other cad packages will allow this point to be picked but in SE I have to add the lines.
However in ST8 It will not allow me to measure to the intersection of these lines?
Edited to add pictures!!

I can see the intellisketch popup for the intersection but when I click it to select it brings up the message box that the dimension cannot be placed,
Although I noticed on that image that I can select extensions, that would help, intellisketch referenced the correct point without the additional lines,
Still gave me the dimension cannot be placed message though...
Did the dimension work for you? is it just me?
I'm not sure I'm following what your saying when you say "the intellisketch popup". It sort of implies that it automatically pops up when it's really a command. Is intersection turned on there?
Anyway, I'm on ST7 so it was just a suggestion.
Thank you, the "distance between" works!!
Dont know why I didn't try that..
Thank you anyway
OK. I think you mismarked my post as a solution rather than Matt's.
