ST9: Jog 45°

I try to make a jog but in 45°, not 90°.

Any idea how to do this?

A contour flange is to complex here. The base part hasn't 90° angles.

Hi,

you could do it like this:

If you moved it to synchronous, you could rotate the centre face back 45degrees.

Alternatively you could create the jog with a lofted flange, though you'd have to be careful with your sketches so as to not to create a twist in the sheet.

Joris,

if you want to stay in the Ordered environment:

Isn't a 'Jog' by nature 90°?

So by placing two 'bends' a' 135° this could be achieved?

Good luck /Ulf

Hi,

There are some ways to do this, but synch is much simpler.

Here is a video about steps:

Tight deadline, so sorry, not all read.

In attachment my work around. "Rughaak_Links.psm" is the base part.

Don't like synch because we use a lot 'insert part copy' and the links has to stay alive.

Will look at all you answers in detail this evening.

Thanks, I watched both video's.

So in short: the thing I was looking for doesn't exists. Man Tongue
