ST9 - Part list properties - Position

I made a parts List Properties saved setting.

Prior to ST9 the position (bottom-left: 10 - 10) was saved in the properties, so when I inserted a parts list and clicked on the RMB the parts list was placed on the correct place.

When I do this now the x and Y are not what I saved. Is this so for all of you?

Hi,

do You have enough rights to save/overwrite the DraftList.txt file?

Is it located at a network drive, for global access?

Maybe this might be a reason.

Thanks.

So I don't think it is a SE problem, but a Windows problem.

I am admin on this machine and have full access tot the server. I have other minor things going on here with my PC, I'll look at that first.

HI @Joris,

what's about to move the reports directory to a locate place, where You have all necessary right to write in.

It's an easy and fast test to see wether or not the writing rights are the reason or not.

Wolfgang

I am 'admin' on my PC, so that should be OK I guess.

Hi @Joris,

but the reports files are saved at the server ?

So copy them onto Your local disc, change the entry in the options - file locations and give it a test.

Wolfgang

They are local, default location.

The strange thing is that the property is correct in the txt file:

BEGINSET
 CONFIGNAME=joris
 TEXTSTYLE=Normal
 HANDLEPOINT=2
 ORIGINX=0.0100000
 ORIGINY=0.0100000
 TEXTMARGINHORIZONTAL=0.0005000
 TEXTMARGINVERTICAL=0.0005000
 BEGINCOLUMN
  COLUMNHEADERTEXT=Nummer
  COLUMNWIDTH=0.0150000
  COLUMNPROPERTYTEXT=%{pset=10pid=1|G}
  COLUMNDATASTYLEOVERRIDEVALID=24
  COLUMNGROUPBY=1
 BEGINCOLUMN
  COLUMNHEADERTEXT=Titel
  COLUMNHEADERHORIZONTALALIGNMENT=0
  COLUMNWIDTH=0.0780000
  COLUMNALIGN=0
  COLUMNPROPERTYTEXT=%{pset=0pid=2|G}
  COLUMNDATASTYLEOVERRIDEVALID=24
 BEGINCOLUMN
  COLUMNHEADERTEXT=Aantal
  COLUMNWIDTH=0.0150000
  COLUMNPROPERTYTEXT=%{pset=10pid=2|G}
  COLUMNDATASTYLEOVERRIDEVALID=24
 BALLOONFONTSIZE=0.0030000
 BALLOONSHOWCOUNT=0
 TOPLEVEL=0
 FIRSTSHEETNAME=A4-Tall
 ADDITIONALSHEETNAME=A4-Tall
ENDOFFILE

but after insert the location is 'forgotten':

Hi @Joris,

what I miss in Your DraftList.txt AND also at the screenshot is the line

USEPREDEFINEDORIGIN=1

This is to use the predefined origin too!

ASctivate this option, save it again and test it.

I have tested my reports.txt just one minute ago and everything works fine here.

No issue heer

Wolfgang
