Hi,
I avoided Solid Edge in the past few months, but now I have to use it again.
I opened https://www.thorlabs.de/_sd.cfm?fileName=TTN024605-E0W.sldprt&partNumber=POLARIS-K2 in SE, created a new part that I want to insert into this holder, and now I am trying to assemble these two parts virtually. Every time I try to add a relationship, SE tells me that "The requested relationship conflicts with others and cannot be placed."
I right-clicked, opened the Assembly Relationships Manager and removed the listed relationship, but that didn't help.

you only show a single part in your video... and it is grounded...
a bit more detail needed

Maybe I should have opened two separate threads for these two separated issues.
I'm going to remove the second question from this post and save it for later.

ok, have the file open in SE, what are you trying to add and thus relate?

I created a an adapter-plate. It's basic shape is a 50.8 mm (2") disc with a few mm thickness. This should fit nicely into the big part with the circular cutout. There are 3 protrusions that define a plane for the disc to rest on, and 3 slight bumps that make sure that the disc is centered.

I transfered the files from my private computer to my work computer and wanted to take screenshots of the problem, but I didn't get the error, it just worked.
I'll try again at home, maybe all that was needed was a reboot. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
