Save draft file to desktop from Teamcenter

I dont know if this can be done. My company uses Solid Edge with Teamcenter. If solid edge is connected to teamcenter, files are opened thru the server and teamcenter manages the file. If solid edge is not connceted to teamcenter files are opened from the PC disk drive. What I want to do, is to save a file I have opened from teamcenter to my local hard drive. I cannot see a way to do this either in Solid edge or in teamcenter.

I don't have TC but I have used it and somewhere there is a "create unmanaged copy" function. Maybe not those words, which are from Insight, but something similar. Maybe in structure editor?

If you have the files opened - they should be in your local Cache.  therefore you can simply copy them from the cache to another folder location.

or,

From Teamcenter you can simply download the named reference of the dataset.

@MattJohnson_PG, Ah, yes, I frequently forget about the cache.
