Hello,
Any thoughts on what could be causing this error? It's a shaded view in ST10 printed on an HP5200. Settings are 200 pixels/inch with textures turn on so the texture on the spring shows.
Thanks!
Kyle

Hi @kjoiner,
Do you have any collisions? [maybe the CSK fastener??]
Try running the "Process intersections" in advanced view properties, and see if that helps.

Hi Sean,
I tried all three levels of process intersections but got the same result. The shading is printing out as miniature versions of the view. It's very strange.
I don't know if there is a hidden registry setting I need to adjust etc.

Kyle,
Oh darn.....doesn't appear so, but, are there any "Frame" elements in this assembly? I've had similar shaing crazyness happening with them [frame], not recently though - which is good, right?

Hi Sean,
No, this is just a small tensioner made from a couple of sheet metal parts and some hardware. None of the screws have actual threads modeled, I just use textures to mimic the appearance of threads. The printing glitch is like the outline of the brackets is tiled all over them.

Yeah, that's weird alright.......oh well, that was the length & breadth of my go at it.
Hope there's someone that has a "fix" for you....as that's both, annoying and embarrassing. Especially if a customer gets to see it.

Hello Guys,
I had a similar patern on my HP Laserjet 5200 with ST10 MP1 about week ago.
There are some old discussions talking about creating STRETCHMASKBLT_VERSION registry key.
It did help me and I did save for myself the new required registry key onto the screen shot in attachment.

@milanw, ah yes, I recall having to apply that registy edit, albeit a long time ago, and on my old desktop machine, when it wouldn't print to PDF with any shading at all.

It did create my shaded pdf fine and offcource printing shaded pdf file to HP LJ 5200 was fine.
Only direct printing from draft to HP LJ 5200 with shaded views was messy.

Kyle,
there are some PR's logged for just this behaviour (small scaled shaded views inside the actual View).
I've been involved in testing and it seems like there might be a fix in next MP.
Keep your fingers crossed!
