Hi all, please help me to solve problem in sheet metal Solid Edge st6: when I create circle profile and use Tab, after that I can't use flange with circle egle. Thanks

Use Ordered mode, create your Tab, then use the Contour Flange command and specify the To End extent option.

Just model it as a PAR file and perform a revolved protrusion.  No advantage to modeling it as sheet metal since it is a stamped part.

It's mean I have to draw in Part, convert sheet metal, but I think cant flatten same as the drawing which I sent you

I believe you are correct and cannot flatten that part

  • The trick is to remove a tiny slice of the pie so the part can be flattern. Obviouly, the drawn cutout in the middle will not flattern. Attached is  a video where I demonstrate how to do it ( quick and very dirty). Your pathfinder shoudn't be like mine and all the steps I shown are not mandatory.
