Show base reference planes by default?

[ Edited ]

In the default setup (ST7), the base reference planes are hidden when entering the part environment. How do I change that so they're shown?  I work mostly in Ordered and would prefer to have them shown by default.

Thanks!

Pat

Re: Show base reference planes by default?

Pat, if you go and actually open up your part template, (Default locations for templates: C:\Program Files\Solid Edge ST7\Template) you can simply turn the reference planes on, then save the file. The condition you leave that file in upon save is the same starting condition you see if you use that template type to start a new part.

Thanks.  That worked.  I should have realized that's how it's done, as I did some other customization that way earlier.   For some reason I thought it was an options setting.
