Showing Hidden Detail

Hi, I'm trying to replicate the end view as per attachment so I can see through a defined section of the motor to view the service pipes behind it. I can do this by simply selecting properties and hiding motor on this view however I'd prefer to select section similar to 'Add Break Lines'. My current drawing is still linked to the 3D assembly, however the existing 2D drawing completed by a colleague who no longer works for our company is not linked to 3D so maybe that's how it was achievable?

Please could someone advise if its possible while still linked to the asm file?

Best Regards

Nigel

Thank you for responding, I will have to view this at home as youtube type content is not allowed on our computers.

Hi,

if YOu have defined it as PMI view in 3D model You can RMB go to the properties of a view - sections and there will be a list of available section views from the 3D

Activate the sections wanted and after view update You will see the section view.
