Hi Arek:

Does any of the methods mentioned in this article or part 2 help to create the spring you want.

Sorry about leading to a lengthy article but hopefully someone also replies with a direct method for your question.

Re: Sloped spring

Hi @Tushar,

unfortunatelly it is impossible to create sloped spring using your method. ( or I couldn't find the solution )

Re: Sloped spring

Even if you could model it, how would you make it? They are not available for purchase are they?

Re: Sloped spring

Hi @12GAGE

You have right, but this functionality is present in every other CAD software, why not to ask ?

Re: Sloped spring

I have 30 other things I need in the software first, that effects my every day work. That does not.

I only ask for things that I need daily. And I ask for a lot. See me thread called "The big ER"

Re: Sloped spring

Ive never seen a sloped spring or even know why you would need one? I know Solid Edge or Solid Works doesn't really have a way to do this

Re: Sloped spring

Hi Scott,

Thank you for your response,

SW has this functionality as well as Inventor, Siemens NX or Catia.
