thanks for that info, sounds great.

 

I believe that with a notebook there are less problems than with workstations, where many configurations, dirvers, etc. are in use.

@hawcadPossibly the mobile workstations are better "engineered" since you don't have as much variability in the component selection.  We don't buy too many desktops anymore as everyone needs to be mobile, but we also buy the Z240 mini towers for those who need/want them and they are also working fine.  Similar specs...

I think adding more RAM would help and also update the drivers for the graphics card.

Hi hawcad,

 

I also use Hp Zbook and not have problem with Solid Edge ST10 performance. 10000+ difficult part and assembly.

My config:

I7 4800HQ 3,7 GHz

8GB ram

256 SSD

Quadro k2100M 2GB

 

Comment: when work with Solid Edge I sett manual my laptop max performance.
