We are working to announce Teamcenter 12 support with the release of Solid Edge 2019 MP1. Stay tuned for more details later this week.
Solid Edge Release Manager
I just got an email that SE2019 MP1 has been released but looks like there is something wrong in the package. I am not able to install it. Can you check if it works for you?
If you installed Solid Edge 2019 from 2019/Media DVD/Solid_Edge_DVD_<language>_2019.exe, then MP1 installs fine.
If you installed via 2019/Solid_Edge_2019.exe, the MP1 install will fail.
You will need to remove Solid Edge 2019 and install 2019/Media DVD/Solid_Edge_DVD_<language>_2019.exe and the MP1 will install fine.
We are actively working to replace the 2019/Solid_Edge_2019.exe now.
We deeply regret the inconvenience.
I'm confused (newsflash), I just downloaded this file: Solid_Edge_DVD_ENGLISH_2019.exe. When I double click it it doesn't extract into separate folders but it runs the install interface.
Have I finally lost my mind?
Yes my friend, I think you have....
You'd need to use a file compression tool, such as WinRAR [or similar], then simply right click the *.EXE file and choose "Extract Here".

@SeanCresswell Well it's official then. I thought when it was described as self extracting when double-clicking that it would do that. 7-Zip appears to be doing it per your instructions. I've done this before so...wow.
I believe that it is as You thought.
An exceptional zip file might be extracted before - somewhere in the deep of personal folders (%appdata%) , will be executed and obviously deleted automatically after usage.
So exactly that is the reason why I extract them manually once and use those folder structures later as often as needed.
This saves the extraction time for every use.
But maybe I'm wrong with that.
