Yeah, you have to use ordered sheet metal for that. Lofted Flange.
in the folder /Solid Edge ST8/Training/Sheet Metal/ you find a couple of example parts. E.g "SE_Transition_SR.psm", in where you by changing a couple of parameters can form your version.
Yes.. lofted.. but this is not producing the bendlines needed form the part.
Go to the Lofted Flange - Options, and on the Bending Method tab, check the box for "Use triangulation......."

On what ST version are you working? I have a standard assembly where you can change eveything with variables. Round, Square, Concentric, Excentric you name it.
You can only have the bendlines not the angles which some other programs can. My company has this high on there wish list!
But this model works great on ST6 but will make SE crash on ST8 something with the change in corner treathment change in ST8. Will be fixed in ST9 (Siemens call 7565775).
