We try to work with Solid Edge on a Dell Tablett PC
Dell Venue 11 Pro 7140
But Solid Edge is crashing whenever we try to create a new 3D-Featuer like Extrusion.
You can open existing 3D-Modell (Parts &Assemblies). This works fine but when you try to add a feature Solid Edge crashed.
Even the Option Graphiksupport "Software" will result in a crash.
Any suggestions out there?
I have nothing to offer as a solution sorry, but only to say, I guess this reinforces the unfortunate reality that not all PC's, tablets included, are created equal, even with comparable hardware.
There might be some [wild guess here ] emulator somewhere, that is just not tuned right for Solid Edge to work correctly.
I am, even today, amazed by the performance on a Surface Pro3, and seeing them at SEU15, the newer Surface Pro4 & Surface Book devices are even more so.

I think that your issue looks very much like a graphics issue. According to my local Dell website the Dell Venue uses the Intel® Core™ M-5Y71 cpu and this has the Intel® HD Graphics 5300 which "should" work OK.
I would make sure that you make sure that you have the latest graphics driver from Intel.
We updated the driver for the Videocard but still face the problem with the crashes.
It seems to me that this HW is not suitable for Solid Edge. Are there other experiences out there with a Tablet PC?
Surface Pro from Microsoft is known.
