Solid Edge Tip - How to determine if a sketch profile is closed

Solid Edge Tip:

Problem: How to determine if a sketch profile is closed...[especially useful in copy/paste data sets for extrudes/cuts]

Solution: Run the "Area" command on the inspect/2D measure tab....it should only return a result when a closed profile exists. [does not indicate overlaping geometry]

Thanks to Calvin Stringer for posting the question in the closed forum....
