"We will release with support for small devices (and Draft viewing) in the next few days."
Now THAT, is exciting! Thanks Dan & team....draft viewing [& being able to save draft's to SEV format, if that is how it will work] will make the mobile viewer so much more complete.
@kjoiner I ran this on my Note2 phone also, and while it was OK, heavily detailed models weren't quite as responsive as on my S4. I believe the Note2 & the S3 shared the same graphics chipset, although the Note2 used the quadcore iteration, but should work fine all the same.
Is it still in beta which requires sign in as a beta tester?
I can't get it to download from Google Play Store onto my Galaxy S3.
I finally got the view onto my Galaxy S3. I had to do it through my desktop. I hooked my phone up through a USB cable and sent it through. It was very slow, however - about 30 minutes or more to install.
It's probably buried much further down in this thread -- but "small format" i.e. phones is not supported in what was up on the Google Play store yesterday. We will LATER TODAY post support for small format phones, along with official support of drawings. This had in the past only been available via Laura Watson as beta. Today it will go official. Thanks to those that beta tested.
Yes. Same approach. Go into Draft. Do "Save for Tablet" and you will get a multi-sheet DRAFT .sev file that will work on iPad or Android.
Do I need to uninstall the beta version before I can install the new release? I just want to check because the app did not show up when I installed it the other day and had to go through my workstation to get it installed.
Don't know, but the update went up after you checked, so I would recheck. If you still can't get it, reach out to Laura or support.
