Synchronous and Ordered Templates

Taking a hint from this line in the GettingStarted.PDF, I tried to figure out setting templates for Ordered and Synchronous Parts:

knowing that the startup environment is a global setting under the Helpers tab:

Does any one know a way to setup separate templates for Ordered and Synchronous ?

Thanks.

Re: Synchronous and Ordered Templates

Hi,

I don't know this way, think that info stayed there from ST or ST2...

Re: Synchronous and Ordered Templates

Hi Imi, Do you mean to say this was possible in ST2 or earlier, unless you mean something else to say.

The hint line I mentioned and found in the Getting Started guide is so emphatic, I am sure it must be the case back then. Not sure why they discontinued this cool functionality. It is highly desirable to have separate templates for Ordered and Synchronous.

Re: Synchronous and Ordered Templates

Hey Tushar,

in pre ST3 versions you couldn't mix syncronous and ordered in one part. I think the separate templates option died with ST3. I work with syncronous for over two years now and i don't miss the separate templates. Switching modes is one click.

Hi Christian, thanks for the info. Having missed the first few versions of ST, I also got a bit obsessed with the separate templates idea for a short while. Yes, it takes just a click to switch modes - happy with it.
