Trying to create a muliple BOM for variable assys

BOM - Variable.gif

I can create a bill of materials for an as drawn and opposite handed part, where each BOM is laid above each other. But what I would like is for there to be muliple BOMs Eg. -01 is as drawn, -02 is the opp hand od -01 and a additionally add -03 variable of -01 and on ... Is this possible ?

Could it be generated from an excel spred sheet but still be linked to the models to regenerate any changes

I've been trying to create matrix BOMs since version 9.  Still can't do it with ST9.

Hi,

You can made BOM list in 3d.

My solution would be to insert a model vew into draft for each parts list. Then create a parts list for each one.

That gets the draft where you want it, does not matter how you get there.

I don't use family of parts or assemblies because long ago I found that they don't work with my assembly driven sheet metal models for some reason (At least that was the case in ST6/ST7)
